Large Shelf Bracket
Free floating shelves, floating bar-tops, or even floating desks are supported by the Large Shelf Bracket.
This steel support bracket is the workhorse of the brackets, giving the industrial style many customers desire. This bracket is made to handle the toughest jobs. Because of the vertical angles which are welded in place, this bracket is almost indestructible.
It is ideal for interior and exterior applications.
Note: The Large Shelf Bracket must be securely mounted into wood studs to ensure the weight of a shelf/countertop and its contents. We recommend hitting each wood stud.

The product itself is made very well, you can tell upon opening the box that the engineering and design of the brackets have been well thought and strategically designed. Furthermore, you immediately get the feeling that these supports are capable of taking all the weight you can realistically throw at them in a residential installation. As a DIY homeowner, I called/emailed and spoke with Sales Manager Joe who was welcoming and quickly understood my need for hand holding while trying to figure out the right brackets for my project. I am going to build out another office area in our home soon using granite again, I have no doubt that I will be using The Original Granite Bracket again on this occasion. One final note, if I recall correctly, the communication and clarity of the shipping process and the costs associated with shipping require simplification and a better understanding from the customer's perspective. Minor detail but I remember being confused for a bit on when will the brackets arrive?

Everything about these brackets is easy. From ordering to delivery and install. And best of all they work. Never had a failure when installed per the directions. The Shipping was very timely, and the unboxing did not disappoint. The product is very chic compared to the cookie cutter brackets scene on the other generic websites. Solid construction and heavy duty. I have no doubt that it will support any unexpected weight on that section of our new countertop, and am sure it withstand the test of time.

The product looks great and is VERY sturdy. I am cantilevering a 24" floating desk off my wall. The desk is a 2" thick live edge slab and weighs almost 80 lbs. I'm a structural engineer and of course had to put things to the test. After attaching each bracket using #10 deck screws, I stood at the end of each one. The bracket didn't flex at all, the wall complained a little though! I read a lot of comments on the net that you need to remove the drywall for very heavy loads; this doesn't appear to be the case with these brackets, works just fine through the drywall for me. The brackets came as advertised and much faster than promised, would recommend this vendor any day!

Great bracket but wondering why it doesn’t come with holes drilled in the horizontal portion. Had to do it myself. I would think most users need holes in that location.
