Invisible Support for Floating Shower Benches
The Original™ Shower Bench Bracket is the perfect concealed support for floating benches or seats in moisture-prone environments like bathrooms and showers. Crafted from Industrial Ribbed Aluminum, this bracket is designed to provide durable, rust-proof support, making it ideal for both interior and exterior installations.
This bracket mounts directly to 2x4 wood studs within your wall before installing drywall or tile. For maximum stability, ensure the bracket is securely fastened to each 2x4 stud. If your studs are metal, please refer to the installation video for special instructions.
Note: This bracket is designed to support overhangs ranging from 18 to 26 inches.
The vertical tang of the bracket adds reinforcement by mounting both above and below the horizontal piece, preventing twisting. Once installed, you can finish your wall with the material of your choice, leaving the bracket virtually invisible.
How to Choose the Right Bracket Size:
When determining the length, measure the horizontal piece from tip to tip, remembering that approximately 3 inches will be inside the wall. For example, if you have a 24-inch vanity, you would select a 24-inch bracket—3 inches will be secured inside the wall, leaving 21 inches for the overhang and a 3-inch allowance for the vanity placement.

My name is Lou and I’m a remodeling contractor of 40 plus years. I have seen the slow and steady decline in products and services through my years. We have now reached the point where 50% is the new 100% and everyone needs two try’s to get it right. (50+50=100) Not so with this company. The brackets were easy to install and provide support I have confidence in. I suggest covering the bracket with masking tape prior to installing brackets to reduce the chance of scratches on the finish.

Shower Bench Bracket
The shower bench bracket allowed me to add a floating bench in a new shower I was constructing for a bathroom. The bracket was sturdy and easy to install. The floating bench is 42 inches in length by 11 inches wide. Your product was just as advertised. I actually got the idea for the bracket from a YouTube video by That Tile Chick who gave great instructions on how to install a floating shower bench. She only uses one bracket in that video but for my purposes I used 2 just for extra strength. Overall very pleased with the product and when I remodel my master bath I will definitely order a few more for that project as well.

Great bracket
